My interest in Marilyns began... after I heard about them some years ago from walking friends. Having completed the Munros and Corbetts and working through Grahams, I realised I would go through 600 at some stage so I started yet another list.
My favourite Marilyns are... leaving aside Murdos, Corbetts and Grahams where there are too many to choose from, Ben Griam Mor and Ben Griam Beg for their isolation and form.
My least favourite Marilyns are... The Cheviot for its peat-hagged terrain and Steele's Knowe for its wind farm.
Do I keep Marilyn bagging a secret? No. I am very open about it. I love ticking off lists as I like goals and I like variety and visiting new locations.
