Although 2005 produced a meagre total with only 34 new Marilyns added, there were some notable days, including my 600th on the brilliant Cruach nan Cuilean (19C), a maritime ascent of Cruachan Charna (18C) by yacht, and Benbeoch (27C), which eventually yielded after a real struggle on the third attempt.
