I just met my target of an additional 66 hills in 2005, and now plan for a further 66 this year to take me over the 1000 mark. It's only recently that I read Marhofn more thoroughly, to discover to my horror that a further two hills have emerged. I'll have to make sure my maps are all up to date with the latest additions. I only achieved my total this year by diverting to the Lakes for Little Mell Fell on the way south to York for Christmas. That took me to 65 for the year, so I then had to stop off at Long Crag near Alnwick during our return north. The roads were pretty bad and there was quite a lot of snow around, but Long Crag was completed and my target reached before a difficult journey home to Banchory.
