2015 was not a vintage year for my Marilyn totals. The spring and summer weather, apart for a week or so in April, was not conducive for hillwalking and I was concentrating on the over-70 hill running championship in the early summer. Beinn a'Chuirn on a fine April day from Victoria Bridge promised the usual spring haul of Marilyns that was not to be fulfilled. Beinn Bhac-ghlais and Healabal Bheag made a fine expedition including the sight of a white-tailed sea eagle to complete the day. Beinn a'Bhraghad in August meant the completion of the Skye Marilyns. We missed all the good autumn weather cycling in France but managed Haddington Hill in the Chilterns on our way home, having to ask a local where in fact the summit was. Further north, Billinge Hill took only 18 minutes to reach the top from the car.
