Bunch of baglogs:

Charlie Scott (+101=1161)

Farewell Marhofn. When I found out about this subject I had done 475 Marilyns - mainly Munros, Corbetts, Donalds and a few obvious lesser ones, so to add nearly 700 in seven years (and c850 Humps) shows how much fun I had. Thanks to all who contributed and edited. Thanks to Audrey Litterick and Tony Kinghorn of Ferranti MC for getting me started.

In 2015, I went from six to 62 in Wales, working east and south from Anglesey in three separate weeks. This included Bardsey Island in low cloud, fortunately after a certain rare bird had departed, leaving Colin with space in his boat. My favourite Welsh hill was probably Cadair Idris. My great surprise of a place to visit would be Borth, near Aberystwyth, with its sunken forest and fantastic sunsets.

In Scotland I had two weeks, one based at Aviemore and one in Portree. My favourite non-Cuillin hill is now Ben Tianavaig just south of Portree, a superb two-hour walk. My 1000th Scottish Marilyn was Glas Bheinn Mor, south of Luib, after Ben na Cro. My favourite other Marilyn of 2015 was Beinn a'Bhaillidh on the tidal island of Eilean Shona in Loch Moidart. A temperature inversion had Eigg and Rum shimmering above the clouds.

The daftest thing I did was jumping off the Steall Bridge onto what turned out to be four cm of sand on top of four metres of concrete. Nearly broke both ankles.
