Bunch of baglogs:

Jon Foote (+19=710)

Just three trips to Scotland in 2015. The first was a week in June, more of a wildlife trip in Heather's company than a bagging one. We saw, on successive days, a sea eagle, on an unexpected boat trip to the north end of Jura, a pair of nesting golden eagles, on an unexpected boat trip to the Garvellachs, and an otter on the Knapdale coast. Heather also saw an osprey near Loch Awe. The second was a long August weekend around Ben Lawers. The third was a week in good bagging company near Braemar, during which I persuaded Heather to ascend her second Marilyn of the year, the rather lovely Craigendarroch (the other was the equally delightful Beinn Mhor near Oban). I enjoyed one long walk to Beinn a'Bhuird and Ben Avon and several short walks on smaller hills.

Bagging is still taking a bit of a back seat until I can engineer a move to Scotland, or at least some extended holidays, but when I started the game, I had no expectation of getting near the Hall or visiting so many fascinating locations in most parts of Britain. I think I will continue looking for opportunities to get that tally plodding on up. The biggest surprise for me, for many years a fairly solitary chap of few friends, has been how much I have enjoyed meeting other baggers and even, on occasion, socialising with you all.
