Another excellent and exhilarating year, which included seven trips north of the border. A beautiful spell of settled weather for Easter enabled completion of all 20 outstanding Mull Marilyns. Harris and Lewis in August included a classic traverse of Clisham in almost tropical conditions. Beer stocks ran low that night. A trip to the Borders in October brought lovely days exploring fine hills with great views, and finally to Argyll and Cowal in December, with 741m Beinn Mhor on Christmas Day offering a frosty summit but no views.
