Baglogs: Upper Hall:

Baglog: Bill Fairmaner (+32=1332)

Rather a low return, considering that when I quit work in February one of my intentions was to spend more time on the hills. As it turned out I did, but much of it involved racing or revisiting bits of North Wales and the Lakes. Plus, it's getting ever harder to find new Marilyns. Indeed, but for a trip to the Western Isles in September, Marilyn excursions would have been limited to two chilly weeks in the north in May and a gentle stroll up Arnside Knott. So, in terms of goals for 2006: failed to complete the Grahams (though polished off those north of the Great Glen), failed to complete a third round of Munros (that can wait), and failed to get 50 new Marilyns in the year. I never realised that failing could be so much fun.
