On its pioneering visit to England and Wales, this year's meeting will be held in Ludlow over the weekend of 5-7 September 2003. As usual, everyone is welcome, partners included, not just Hall members. Dinner for the Saturday night has been booked at the Unicorn (an ancient pub with good beer and food), Lower Corve Street, Ludlow. Meet in the same pub on the Friday evening from around 8:30. Simple camping accommodation is available at Court Farm, Ashford Carbonell (SO524702, Landranger 137/138). There are numerous B&Bs in the area, and the youth hostels at Leominster and Knighton are still open. Bags of hills around, including such half-hour classics as High Vinnalls and View Edge, with 2000ft hills in nearby Radnor Forest.
