Gordon Ingall (+17=1205)

It was good to meet others again at the Islay meet in 2012. The walk back over the main Islay hills after the RIB trip to McArthur's Head was a great day, despite the early low cloud. I discovered, when I checked the records back home, that Glas Bheinn was number 1200 - the second of the three Marilyns, not the third (I cannot help being disorganised). To double the Marhof entry level had been a distant and ambitious target some twelve years ago when I first made it into the Hall. I will need to rethink a new objective to maintain Marilyn momentum, otherwise it will end up as repeats of major hill excursions to the exclusion of new ascents. Unless, of course, I succumb to P100s, P30s and the like - I have resisted the temptations so far to come up with accurate totals, however things could change.
