Year 2012 was a quiet one on the Marilyn front. Higher things took precedence with my successful ascent of Everest from the Tibet side on 25 May 2012. This completes all the Seven, Eight or Nine (depending on which list you read) Summits, and all at the first attempt. So now I am equal first, along with about 4000 others, in the Planet High Point frontrunners list.
One other Ultra to report - Mount Ossa, Tasmania, surviving encounters with tiger snakes, leeches, wombats, wallabies and possums. Hopefully, 2013 will see a return to more serious Marilyn bagging.
