Baglogs:
Anne Bunn (+93=1080)
The year 2012 proved to be a very productive hill bagging one, making up in a small way for Sunderland AFC's rather unproductive one. There were many trips to Scotland, including weeks at Appin, Corrour, Jura, Scourie and North Uist. Not forgetting a fantastic shambles/rambles weekend in Mr Brown country. There was one hill climbing week abroad, in Romania's Carpathian mountains, where I stayed in some fabulous mountain huts, all well stocked with local beers and wines.

Highlights include:
- Reaching my 1000th Marilyn on Beinn Lora, in the fine company of Madame Lacy and Monsieurs Morl, Holmes, Brown, Dawson, Bidwell, Rogers and Richardson. Just before leaving the summit we were joined by a magnificent golden eagle. Dined well on wine, cider and toffee cake. On the subject of toffee Mr Dawson, the Everton cap you so kindly gave to me has found its niche in life as my WC window wedge.
- An epic twelve-hour 30km Corrour ramble over the Corbett, Glas Bheinn, and Grahams, Creag Ghuanach and Beinn na Cloiche; courtesy of an idea by Mr Morl - many thanks George for suggesting an extra hill and to Mr Young for joining me.
- A linear traverse of the Paps on Jura with Margriet.
- Another twelve-hour jaunt over Arkle, Meall Horn and Sabhal Beag. Weather glorious and, again, bullied along by Mr Young.
- Whilst in Romania I discovered the art of drinking wine from a tea pot at altitude.
- Learning from Margriet how to make and destroy tiramisu. I thought the whole bottle of Amaretto was the required dosage. Margriet came quickly to the rescue, much to my disappointment.
My aims for 2013 are to continue whittling away at the remaining Corbetts and Grahams, together with, hopefully, a visit to St Kilda.
