Note that new entrant to the Upper Hall, Miles Hutchinson, was in 2012 86 years old, which makes him the oldest entrant too. Indeed, he is the oldest member of the whole Hall and apparently was the slowest person to reach 600 in May 2000, his first in 1938. However he is by no means the slowest to get from 600 to 1000. When he submitted his 2012 baglog and totals he confessed that he had discovered an error in his records that showed he had not bagged Illgill Head aged 14 in 1940, as he thought. Not many Hall members would have been around at the time to witness whether he had done it or not. Miles asked us to change our records to show that his 600th Marilyn was not Beinn na Muice, but Slat Bheinn and he reduced his 2012 tally by one. If only everyone was so diligent.
