Another relatively quiet year hill-wise, with my totals creeping steadily rather than racing upwards. Highlights:

• A week of mixed winter weather and hills in the Glen Shiel area.
• Various trips to the Lakes and adjacent areas to close in on an English Marilyns completion.
• A fantastic trip out to Ailsa Craig - thanks Simon.
• A superb week in May completing the Isle of Man, including the Calf.
• Visiting Scarp off Harris and walking back over the hills to Uig from Loch Resort.
• Managing a few hills in the Lorn area whilst seeing folk at the Scottish six-day orienteering event.
• Making the most of Kintyre when our Scarba boat tried to sink - better luck next time, Alison.
• Stealing a few excellent days around Lochaber despite two weeks of pretty solid rain in September.
