Baglogs:

David Purchase (+17=874)

The majority of the new Marilyns were climbed during my first trip to the Outer Hebrides in June. Nine of these were also island tops; all the inhabited islands together with Pabbay, Scarp and Taransay. I added a further four Marilyns and two SubMarilyns on Lewis and North Uist. Part of the object of the trip was to visit islands, so I landed on a further eight non-Marilyn islands, including Scalpay and Benbecula. The highlights were Beinn Ra on Taransay and Eaval on North Uist. The lowlight was Sron Romul on Scarp where, in cloud and rain, I managed to cut a finger quite badly and it took some time to heal.

I added four more Marilyns in the Donald region of Scotland, but they have not helped my count much because of the recent demotion of some English Marilyns.
