Last year saw me reaching a few milestones. The highlight was on Ben Lawers in fantastic weather when I climbed my 1000th Munro, with my only companion being my golden retriever, Fionn. I also kept up my average of 100 ascents of both West and East Lomond per year, which meant I have been up both over 2100 times. My other highlight of the year was completing the Fisherfield hills in glorious weather, which included a bivvy at the summit of A'Mhaighdean. Now that is the stuff of dreams!
