In truth, 2010 was far from impressive, with all my new hills resulting from one summer trip to Scotland. The main reason for this was that last year I moved from mid Wales to Exeter, a long way from the big hills. I did manage a trip to the Alps for a few 4000m mountains, and numerous new Hewitts in Wales, but this does represent my worst year on record, I think. I am hoping for better things in 2011, as a trip to Scotland has already brought almost half of last year's total, with a particularly memorable snowy round in Moidart.
