As well as the 18 new Marilyns during the year I did 36 repeats ascents and also completed the New Donalds and SMC Donalds. I now have more time for other interests, including re-introducing the common juniper to the countryside. This may annoy those who count species of trees to determine the age of hedges. Juniper is one of only three native British conifers, the others being Scots pine and yew.
