When I qualify for a list, it is usually time to wonder whether the standard has been set a bit too low. However, I confess to pride in completing the Corbetts at last in June - memorable days on Ben Aden, The Cobbler and, finally, Beinn Lair. I pressed on trying to join up the dots in many of the Scottish sections in Alan Dawson's book, though I still haven't worked out what they are meant to be. We had great days on Mull, Harris, Jura and Skye. If we are half as lucky in 2011, that will be wonderful.
