Journey

Donald Irvine (+92=966)

The year's improved total might indicate some sacrifice of quality in favour of quantity, but I still managed a good crop of outstanding hills. More unusual journeys included:

January: Flying from Prestwick to Bournemouth to hire a car with the sole purpose of mopping up regions 40 and 41. Shame!

June: Using buses and ferry to travel from Glasgow to Leverburgh for Conachair and South Harris. Pat on the back!

July: Claiming the new Botley Hill at 4am on the way home from France.

December: Walking over the hills of section 32C and, by using trains and buses through the valleys, undertaking a grand tour of industrial Wales.
