Chris Watson, Jim Fothergill: This hill is now forested and beginning to cause problems. Park near the road junction at NY253815 and take the obvious track up the hill. Stay on the north side of the wall (hard going) and follow it to the col with Carruthers Fell to the south. A weak break in the trees takes you north to a wide east-west break. Head west for a short distance and another weak break heads NE into a large clearing which contains the trig point.
