Chris Watson, Jim Fothergill, John Barnard: Park at Braeval car park (NN541006) and follow the red waymarked path and track to a point just before the stream at NN537013. A clear path heads up through the woods and takes you to a new pedestrian gate out onto the open hillside. The path continues over the 393m top and on to the trig. Descents to the south-east are not recommended.
