With unclimbed Marilyns scattered far and wide, despite moving home recently, I'm finding it increasingly hard to make progress. Nevertheless, I had some memorable days in 2009, starting with a sunny but bitterly cold January day on Ben Griam Beg and Ben Griam Mor. These two very prominent hills had been on my to-do list for some time and they did not disappoint. Having got the number of unvisited Grahams down to six in 2006, I finally completed them in 2009. The final Graham was Cruach nan Capull on 22 July. Alas, I lost the race with the weather and so reached the top in drenching rain and gale-force winds. It didn't seem sensible to extend the run to include Cruach Neuran, so I'm going to have to go back. My penultimate day on the Grahams was very different; a warm, sunny day around Glen Kinglass, reaching the rocky heights of Beinn nan Lus in early evening.
