A much better year than the previous two. I'm hoping to accelerate just a bit more in 2008.
First bag of 2007: Scaw'd Fell (28B). Very nice, too.
Most enjoyable bag of 2007: Moel Siabod (30B) in a beautiful October cloud inversion. Absolutely, or at least, relatively, breathtaking.
Biggest anti-climax of 2007: Mount Eagle (15B). I mean, be fair, it's called Mount Eagle, not mount chaffinch, peak of slugs and snails or starling hill. No, it's Mount Eagle. Worra dump, though.
Final bag of 2007: Tighvein (20C). Should have been something more mountainous but it was raining a bit.
And finally: I eventually bagged Billinge Hill (36), my only English tick in 2007. It was a little respite for the dogs on a long drive to Wales. It was better than Mount Eagle.
