My total of 42 new Marilyns was less than I had hoped, for two reasons. Firstly, the weather during my main Scottish holiday in July, at Tyndrum and Strathpeffer, was rather disappointing. Secondly, in early October I suffered a heart attack, and was in hospital for nearly three weeks. I have not yet made a full recovery, but hopefully should be able to do a few easy Marilyns in 2008.
