Not having a car I am reliant on public transport. I go to an area and then blitz it over a number of days, doing as many hills as I can. I camp out in the hills for up to ten days at a time, self-sufficient, so most of my hills are done with a large pack on my back. I like to camp overnight on the summits: a good way of avoiding the worst of the midges. I'm still doing the Ms, Cs and Gs, but I do the lower hills when I can, and have now done the majority of local Marilyns. I moved to Scotland in 1999 and since then have been ticking off about 60 Marilyns a year.
