Baglogs: Central Chamber:

Baglog: Alan Castle (+55=860)

Highlights included a magnificent week alone in July in Ardgour, Sunart and Morvern during the hottest weather of the year (it was 37C when I got back to the car at 4.30pm after a round of Garbh Bheinn and two Grahams), and a ten-day trip with Beryl to the small isles (all of them) during which I bagged everything in sight, including all the Yeamans. But many more things done than peak-bagging, including a two-week long distance walk in the Cevennes and a ten-day cycle ride in northern England and the Borders. So all in all another great year.

The first Hillwalker's Register weekend went off well, with 36 people attending at the hostel in Borrowdale, including Rob Woodall, Myrddyn Phillips and Phil Cooper. There are firm plans for a second one in 2007 at the same time (first weekend in October). I still hope one day to attend one of the annual Marilyn get-togethers, but something always seems to crop up to prevent me doing so.
