I had an outing planned to the two Welsh border Marilyns of Heath Mynd and Corndon Hill on 4 August. When I met Richard Webb, by chance, on Mickle Fell on 12 July, he pointed out that if I saw off the other ten remaining hills in the Lakes and northern England in the meantime, I could complete in England and Wales on the same day. That was a great idea and was accomplished with my wife Chris and friends, and made a grand finale.
I'm now seeking a comfortable lounge close to Corridor corner, where I can watch others go by, set aside for those of us who have completed south of the border, but realistically are going no further (apart from an IoM visit planned for the summer). I hope there are others in the same situation - I wouldn't want to be a lone lounger.
